Do you know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in France?

A Royale with Cheese. Do you know why they call it a Royale with Cheese?
Because of the metric system.

We are currently at the McDonald's in Charles de Gaulle Airport in France waiting to be able to check our baggage for our plane. Despite a scary email we received from Expedia last night saying something about us canceling one of our flights, we spoke to someone today and they said we are confirmed and registered for both of our flights, and we have our boarding passes for both flights as well. We just need to wait until 2:30pm our time before we can check our bags. Luckily, McDonald's not only has tasty chicken nuggets but also free interwebs. So at least we can waste some time here.

Last night, Alice decided we needed a montage. Just to show a lot of things happening at once. Remind people what's going on (what's going on). Even Rocky had a montage.

You always have to fade out in a montage. If you fade out in a montage it makes it seem like more time has passed in a montage.

That's right. Pulp Fiction and Team America in one post. Owned.

  1. SO, you're headed home. Finally.

Sara is back home (as of 6:30 PM) and recuperating. She figures she's up for a challenge with you. Ping pong within 3 hours of your touch-down at JFK. No rest for the weary (you) and she is still being post-op (with the pain killers, you know). Should be an intersting match!

Please don't laugh at the ICE agent if he asks you if you are bringing back more than $10,000 in currency. If you do, they may opt to take you to that private area to confirm what you are denying. (I'm sure they share stories of what returning travelers respond to that question!)

Welcome home. After a 330 day+ sojurn in South Korea and 30+ days in Switzerland, I can tell you that there is no better feeling than being back in the old US of A.

Once again you can DRIVE yourself anywhere, anytime - after you've taken a few tenative ( and scary) trips to our house to ensure that you've got your "driving legs" back.

Safe traveling and WELCOME HOME! (UF)

  2. Haha, they totally asked us if we had more than $10,000 in Canada and we totally laughed and made some witty "We wish" comment. Probably why we ended up being deported, you should probably follow this advice. Ahh memories, eh?

MISS YOU! Glad you are home!

  3. If those chicken nuggets tasted funny it's because they were made with actual chicken. - JVL
